The Sweet Story Behind Kay Cee’s Corner

When Kay Cee’s Corner came to me, it wasn’t just a branding project; it was a reflection of love, legacy, and style.
The owner was building something special. A boutique offering handcrafted gifts and stylish clothing for young girls, rooted in creativity, care, and a desire to bring joy to everyday moments. She wanted something playful, but not overly childish. Feminine, but still timeless. A brand that would grow with her audience and feel just as special on a business card as it did on a tiny clothing tag.
Where We Started
We began with a conversation, not just about visuals, but about values. She shared what the brand meant to her: personal touches, thoughtful details, and a sense of pride in every piece. The challenge was clear. We needed a logo that could speak to moms with an eye for quality and little girls with a love for color and fun.
Designing the Brand
I explored soft, warm palettes with delicate accents. A handwritten font gave it personality and approachability, while a clean serif added balance and structure. The soft blush tones and floral elements created a sense of charm without leaning too youthful. It was important that the final look felt boutique-worthy, something you’d be proud to package, gift, or wear.
One of the most rewarding parts was seeing how the logo translated to real applications on shopping bags, tags, and social media. It brought the brand to life in a way that felt authentic and joyful.
Why This Project Mattered
Kay Cee’s Corner reminded me of why I love brand design in the first place. It’s never just about the logo. It’s about capturing a story. Giving someone the confidence to show up in the world as their fullest, most expressive self—whether that’s through a product, a service, or a little pink bow.
This project was filled with intention, collaboration, and heart. I’m honored to have played a small part in something that’s going to bring a lot of joy to a lot of little girls.
